This is a group of mostly long-term practitioners, but beginners are welcome and encouraged.
A unique style of Kung Fu developed by a woman, this practice is very effective for self-defense, and was made famous in Bruce Lee and Ip Man movies. The core practice is called Chi Sau (Sticking Hands), done with a partner, where we learn to redirect energy through feeling, without the use of brute strength. We also practice Empty Hand Forms, which are done solo.
Individualized instruction is given throughout by Sifu David Robinson, who has been teaching since he started the Boston University Kung Fu club in 1977. His senior student and tournament champion George Christian also assists in teaching.
